PURPOSE:To ensure flexibility and to improve solubility to water and thermal decomposability by mixing powdery ceramic stock with a specified binder soln. CONSTITUTION:Powdery ceramic stock is prepd. by wet-mixing BaO, Al2O3, etc., with a ball mill, calcining and pulverizing the mixture after drying and 100 pts.wt. of the stock is slurried by mixing with 28 pts.wt. binder soln. contg. a binder made of a polymer or its salt and having 25wt.% concn. of the solid component. The polymer is produced by copolymerizing 1-20wt.% one or more kinds of unsatd. monomers each having a carboxylic acid group with 10-70wt.% one or more kinds of alkyl methacrylate monomers or alkyl acrylate monomers each having one or more polyalkylene oxide groups having a degree of polymn. of 3-40 in the alkyl group and 20-70wt.% one or more kinds of alkyl methacrylate monomers or alkyl acrylate monomers each having one or more hydroxyl groups in the alkyl group. |
