PURPOSE:To provide the external storage device for a game equipment, by which a user inputs originally a sound signal, and also, it is outputted as BGM or an effect sound and the game property can be enhanced. CONSTITUTION:The external storage device for this game equipment is provided with a microphone 5 for inputting a sound signal, a sampling means 7 for sampling the inputting sound signal, a memory 8 for storing a sampling signal subjected to sampling, a connecting means 9 for connecting electrically the memory 8 and a game machine 1, and a control means 11 for controlling the connection of the memory 8 and the game machine 1. The memory 8 consists of a magnetic disk and a writable CD-ROM or a backup RAM, etc. Also, the connecting means 9 is provided with an interface 10 for operating the external storage device by a controller 2 of the game machine 1. |
