PURPOSE:To apply the stability decision system of a power system to a main protection fault, in which system configuration after a fault is eliminated controls stability, by using the quantity of unbalance between generators of deceleration force displaying the difference of stability by system configuration after the fault is eliminated as a stability index and computing and deciding stability in details when the quantity of unbalance exceeds a threshold. CONSTITUTION:Current system information is collected at a step S1, and the state of a power flow is computed at a step S2. A large number of assumed disturbance f1, f2,...fn are set at a step S3, transient stability up to a moment when a fault is eliminated is calculated at a step S4, and outputs from each generator before the fault is generated and in a moment when the fault is eliminated are acquired. DP values to each assumed disturbance are computed on the basis of these results and the inertial constants of each generator at a step S5, the DP values and a threshold DP* are compared at a step S6, and instability is decided temporarily to the assumed disturbance when the DP values are larger than the threshold DP*. Transient stability is calculated at a step S7, and stability is decided in details. |
