The concrete reinforcing bar has helically wound ribs on its periphery, making use of previously strengthened raw material. There is a flattened area (4) on each rib (C) in the course of the core periphery. The shortest interval (G) of these areas from the centre line matches the rib radius in the central area. The core (1) is circular, in relation to an imaginary project ion sectional, and the rib radius is greater at the outside than in the central area. This ensures that material undergoes continuously even strengthening when worked below recrustallisation temperature, and gives ribs improved powers of adhesion. |
