1281184 Time locks LICENTIA PATENTVERWALTUNGS GmbH 8 Dec 1969 [7 Dec 1968] 59868/69 Heading E2A A door of an oven is kept locked by a timer 3 during thermal cleaning. When the knob on spindle 4 is turned to wind up the timer, an eccentric 5 pushes and a fastening bolt 6 downwardly against springs 8. This bolt fastens the oven door 2 and is latched by arms 16 engaging in slots 11. The door may be unlatched by rotation of cam 18 by knob 20, but during heating, this is prevented by a bimetal strip 21 carrying blocking detents 17 to prevent its rotation. While the door is open, a blocking detent 31 lies in a hole 32 in the bolt 6 to prevent operation of the heating device, but this is put out of action by a pin 24 on the door which pushes this detent rearwardly to clear it from the bolt.
