In a break-spinning-frame, to ensure that effective priming takes place when spinning is resumed, a photo-electric end detector 10 is provided in some of the units between the spinning chamber 4 and the Make-up mechanism 7, which a feeler-type director 9 is provided in all the units. Thus, for restarting, when a length is fed back from the winding-means by the automatic priming-means under the control of timing-mechanism or the feelers 9, it is made certain that the priming end will be united with the length extending from the spinning chamber.
