[Also in Division F2] A fixing device for securing a threadless bolt 1 in a hole in a lever 2 comprises a synthetic plastics member (3) of C-shaped cross section having grooves 9, 10 in its ends portions 7, 8 accommodating the outer periphery of a spring clip 4, the spring clip being arranged in use of the fixing device to grip a portion of a bolt which is passed through a bushing 6 projecting from the intermediate portion 5 of the C-shaped member to secure the bolt 1 relative to a lever 2 upon which the C-shaped member is mounted. The spring clip 4 may be rotatably mounted in the C-shaped member or fixed thereto as by bonding or by moulding in situ and the spring clip may be provided with spring tongues for gripping the bolt 1. |
