PURPOSE:To uniformly fill a liquid filler contained inside a rubber balloon-like container into a clearance of a wire harness of a waterproofing portion by fitting the container filled with the filler at the center of the waterproofing portion of the wire harness, and splitting the container by an external pressure. CONSTITUTION:A rubber balloon-like container 2 filled with a liquid filler is fitted at the center of an electric wire bundle in a waterproofing portion 1 of a wire harness W/H, both sides of which are bundles at its outer periphery via the bands 3. The tip of a pipe 5a of a jig 5 is inserted into a clearance of the electric wire of the wire harness W/H, to be exposed t the container 2. A tape 4 is half wrapped around the waterproofing portion 1 of the wire harness W/H. A needle 5b of the jig 5 is projected from the pipe 5a, thus splitting the container 2. The jig 5 is drawn out. The container 2 is contracted, and the filler contained inside overflows out of the container 2, to naturally intrude and is filled into the clearance of the electric wire of the waterproofing portion 1. The flow-out of the filler naturally reduces the diameter of the outer periphery of the waterproofing portion of the wire harness W/H. |
