PURPOSE:To revise an image pickup object whose shape is recognized from the outside of a camera or not recognized from the outside of the camera. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a shift mechanism 34 shifting laterally an image pickup element 30 with respect to an optical axis of an image forming optical system 32 and with a turning mechanism 36 turning the image pickup element 30, the image forming optical system 32 and the shift mechanism 34 within a horizontal plane integrally. The shift mechanism 34 and the turning mechanism 36 are used depending on the image pickup situation. |
