A rotary rake comprises outwardly extending arms 7 carrying tines 8 which lie in a plane angled so as to sweep the crop with a component of motion radially inwards towards the axis of rotation of the rake. The arms may be mounted tangentially in a central tub or radially with their outer ends bent forwardly in the direction of rotation. A cam track 13 co-operates with a follower 11 for rotating the arms about their longitudinal axes to swing the tines upwardly and rearwardly with respect to the direction of rotation of the rake. Each array of tines includes at least three tines having a similar curvature and an outer tine 8' bent forwardly of and shorter than the remaining tines of the array. |
