The subject matter of this application is the same as that disclosed in Specification 1,130,618 but the claims relate to a stationary pot-shaped magazine 36 housing supply cops 38, a wing element 41 in the magazine for feeding the cops towards a tangentially arranged exit 37, and a chute 39 at the exit for directing a cop 38 into a winding-off position on a swing- able mandrel 43 which, when said cop is empty, moves the cop into a position in which the cop is doffed from the mandrel 43. |
