Apparatus for playing a game comprises a model spaceship 10 mounted in a ring 44 and rotatable about two axes by means of pairs of air blasts one of each pair being controlled by electric timing mechanism including a stepping switch and the other of each pair by the operator during intervals permitted by the timing mechanism when the spaceship may be maintained in the proper orientation. Scoring apparatus is controlled by a photoelectric circuit responsive to fight reflected from a reflecting surface on the model. In a further embodiment the rotation of the model is produced by electric motors controlled through d.c. summing amplifiers each of which receives two inputs one being wholly controlled by the timing mechanism and the other being in part under the control of the operator. |
