Plastic sheat, esp. of PVC, is bonded to metal tube, e.g. metallic cable coverying, by applying reactive adhesive (e.g. epoxide resin +hardener) to metal tube before applying sheath. This eliminates disadvantages associated with removal of solvent from adhesive, which can cause porosity or prolong finishing time. |
