PURPOSE:To obtain a medical polycarbonate molding excellent in irradiation resistance by molding a polycarbonate resin composition formed by mixing a specified aromatic polycarbonate polymer or oligomer with a polyalkylene glycol ester. CONSTITUTION:The title molding is obtained by molding a resin composition formed by mixing an aromatic polycarbonate polymer or oligomer containing structural units derived from a halogenated bisphenol (e.g. a copolymer polycarbonate resin prepared from bisphenol A and tetrabromobisphenol A) with a polyalkylene glycol ester of the formula (wherein R<1> is H or a lower alkyl; R<2> and R<3> are each a 1-30 C alkyl or a phenyl substituted by 0-2 lower alkyls; and m is 1-1000) (e.g. polyethylene glycol acetate). This molding is lowly yellowed when it is irradiated in air or in the substantial absence of oxygen, so that it is useful for a medical appliance or the like for irradiation sterilization in air or in the absence of oxygen. |
