[Also in Division H1] In an electric switch assembly comprising multiple actuators 12, 14, Fig. 1, illuminated from a single lamp 18, one of the switches 12, Fig. 7, associated with a warning flasher circuit 40 also connects the lamp 18 into the flasher circuit 40 so that the illumination of all the finger buttons is flashed when the warning condition operates. The assembly is arranged for use in automotive vehicles in which the headlights, sidelights, and warning actuators are illuminated through a single light conducting rod 22 having apertures 46, 47 surrounding the actuators 12, 14 and lamp 18. Lever actuator 12 has a spring plunger 31 engaging contact slider 32. In one position, Fig. 6 (not shown), lamp 18 is steadily illuminated from supply terminal 33 via sliding contacts 35, 37. In the second position lamp 18 is placed in the flasher circuit 40 from terminal 33 via sliding contacts 35, 39, 42, 37. |
