Oven for drying of sanitary ceramic ware before glazing without production of cracks and at a higher speed has a number of contiguous and superposed drying tunnels whose cross-sectional area corresponds to the configuration of the sanitary ware, the sides of the tunnel being provided with drying air supply openings and the upper wall of the tunnels being provided with drying air discharge openings. - Ware is conveyed through the tunnels along roller conveyors.
