BINDER PITCH FOR ELECTRODE

PURPOSE:To obtain a binder pitch excellent in caking property and fusion resistance. CONSTITUTION:This binder pitch has a softening point (by the ring and ball method of 70-130 deg.C and contains 25.0-40.0wt.% lightweight component which is defined by the formula and determined by thermogravimetry (at a temp. rise rate of 10 deg.C/min in a nitrogen flow of 50 ml/min using 100mg sample).
