PURPOSE:To provide a new packaging material for food products and production process thereof with improved strength, moisture repellency and tightness of the material in a paper sheet product mainly made of wood pulp which can be used as a packaging vessel for food products. CONSTITUTION:The packaging material for food products or the production process thereof is characterized by adding one or more selected from linters, starch, persimmon tannin, or konjak starch to prepare the starting slurry F and making it into a paper sheet. Or paper sheets made from mainly wood pulp are coated or impregnated with the paste of konjak starch. |
