[Also in Division H1] A resistance network for controlling e.g. a tape dispenser, comprises a potential divider consisting of resistor 236, resistors 200 to 220, resistors 232, 234 and resistor 238. Asignal of the desired magnitude is applied to the terminal 196 of the controlled apparatus by depressing the corresponding push button switch 170 to 192. The range of signal values may be altered by changing the positions of ganged switches 100, 102 and hence the connection of resistances 232, 234 relative to resistances 200 to 220. Variable potentiometers 252, 256 are connected in parallel with each other and apply signals to terminal 196 when the required switch 246 or 248 is closed. A further switch 264 allows the voltage across resistor 236 to be applied to output 196. |
