The diffuser consists of at least one air distribution duct (1) fed by a fan (5) at one end and incorporating a structure (9) which surrounds the duct and acts as a reinforcing frame for a diffuser sleeve (8). The duct is basically cylindrical in shape and the sleeve is concentric with it and made from a woven fabric of polyester fibres coated with a supple plastic material, such as PVC. The woven fabric is made from 12 warp and 12 weft yarns forming a perforated surface with a weight of 200-250 g/m<2>. The reinforcing structure (9) is made from a series of equally-spaced transverse hoops (22) linked by lengthwise stringers (24). |
