PURPOSE:To improve contrast by inclining at least a portion of a first interface between either layers of a reversible thermosensible material layer, intermediate layers and a colored layer relative to a surface of the reversible thermosensible material layer in a thermosensible display material, on which write/erase of informations can be repeatedly performed by heating. CONSTITUTION:A thermosensible display material comprises a reversible thermosensible material layer 1, of which transparency reversibly changes with temperature, one or more layers 8 consist of a transparent material or the like, and a colored layer 6, said layers being provided in this order, and said layers 8 of the transparent material having a different refractive index than that of a layer which is adjacent to the layers 8 with at least one interface between the layers. At least a part of a first interface between either layers of the reversible thermosensible material layer 1, to the colored layer 6 is inclined relative to a surface of the reversible thermosensible material layer 1. Thus the layers 8 are consisted of prism sheet or lenticular sheet. Light is made incident upon an angular area of total reflection whereby a thermosensible display material having a high contrast is obtained. |
