A dual layer cellular inflatable pad having the cells of each interfitting with the cells of the adjacent layer. The cells of one layer may be alternately inflated and deflated. The layers have a manifold across and adjacent the longitudinal cell ends with a small continuation of the cells on the end sealed side of the manifold to prevent arching or curling of the pad.
