From the external connection to the injector to the central point of the mould, the main feed channel passes under the first moulding zone in a light curve. From the central point distributing channels take the injected rubber material to each of the moulding zones by the shortest route. The purpose is to provide an equal and consistent feed of the rubber material to each of the moulding zones to ensure they are filled under a common pressure.
