1345449 Piperazine derivatives SCIENCE UNION ET CIE SOC FRANCAISE DE RECHERCHE MEDICALE 4 May 1972 [14 May 1971] 14877/71 Heading C2C Novel piperazine derivatives of the formula and acid addition salts thereof, wherein Het is pyridyl, pyrimidinyl, pyridazinyl or pyrazinyl and the amino radical is in a para position to the carbonyl group; R 1 is H or C 1-4 alkyl; and R 2 is H, C 1-4 alkyl or C 1-4 alkoxy are prepared by reacting mixed anhydrides of the formula with the appropriate 1-(2-amino (or alkylamino) ethyl)-4-(R 2 -pyridyl) piperazines and hydrolysing the resulting acetamides of the formula Pharmaceutical compositions, suitable for oral, rectal or parenteral administration, contain the above novel compounds or acid addition salts thereof in admixture or conjunction with pharmaceutically suitable carriers. The compounds possess broncholytic, antianaphylactic and central nervous system depressant properties. |
