PURPOSE:To prevent malfunctions in the closing motion of an opening and closing body, by comparing a varied quantity of the rotary cycle of a motor with a specified discrimination value. CONSTITUTION:When a hard material is bitten, the rotary cycle of a motor increases abruptly and when a soft material is bitten, it increases at relatively slow pace. The first discrimination value larger than 1 is set as a case according to a hard material and the second discrimination value larger than 1 but smaller than the first discrimination value is set as a case according to a soft material. When the rate of chance of the rotary cycle Tn+1/Tn is lower than the first discrimination value and further, Tn+1/Tn is higher than the second discrimination value in a specified subsequent number of times, in a specified interval right after start of the motor, the discrimination is carried out for the specified number of times longer than an ordinary number of times. On closing, when it is discriminated in the main control circuit that a foreign material has been bitten, on-signal is transmitted from an output terminal 02 and relay Ry2 is put on to actuate a dynamic brake. Subsequently, off-signal is transmitted from an output terminal 01 to stop the closing motion of the window glass. |
