The device is for turning a disc valve of an internal combustion engine. The flat spring is supported by balls (10) which reduce friction in the housing (2) on one side, and by the load-bearing end plate (11) of the valve spring. The balls (4, 5) are in pockets with slanting tracks (6, 7). The springs (8, 9) allow the balls (4, 5) to move in the direction of the flat end of the slanting tracks. A ring fixed to the housing limits axial movement of the balls. The balls (4, 5) are pushed by the springs (8, 9) along the slanting tracks (6, 7) to the highest and lowest positions respectively. The loading of the flat spring by the valve spring causes loading of the balls (4) and opposition to the tangential springs, and the situation reverses, enabling rotation relative to the housing (2, 3).
|
