The tumbler arrangement of the hinge is contained in a housing fitted into a recess on the inside surface of the door leaf. Adjacent to the housing on the side towards the foor leaf centre line the pin of the tumbler arrangement is provided swivelling around a vertical axis. The pin is fitted with a block which contains a slotted hole (14) in which a pin is guided which acts as a vertical swivelling axis (10) for the pivot (10). Against the surface of the pin in the end of spring (16) is resting and the free end of the pivot (12) is arranged to be inoperative when the door is not in the closed position.
