The following compounds are prepared in the examples: phenylhydrazine; o-tolylphenylhydrazine; and o-methoxyphenylhydrazine. In Example 2, o-tolylphenyl hydrazine is reacted with acetoacetic acid methyl ester to produce 1-o-tolyl-3-methylpyrazol-5-one.</p> |
