PURPOSE:To precisely measure the intensity of radiated heat energy by fitting a thermocouple to a heat receiving board and either one of heat shielding boards arranged at a prescribed interval behind the heat receiving board, and then by providing a heat shielding member surrounding them. CONSTITUTION:The heat shielding boards 4a and 4b are fitted on shore 2 supporting heat receiving board 1 and cylindrical heat shielding member 5 surrounding them is fitted to the shore or shielding boards 4a and 4b. The heat-receiving side surface of the board 1 is coated with black paint to increase its heat absorptivity, and its reverse surface and both surfaces of shielding boards 4a and 5b and shielding member 5 are treated so that their heat absorptivity and emissivity decrease, the reverse surface of heat receiving board 1 and that of outermost shielding board 4b, thermocouples 3 and 6 are fitted. After thermal balance is kept, the measured value of the heat receiving board is corrected according to the temperature difference between thermocouples 3 and 6. Thus, radiated heat energy can be measured prcisely. |
