PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of nozzle stop position by installing a photo coupler to cover light detecting holes prepared to the periphery of the gear. CONSTITUTION:Light detection holes 23a-23c, having identical tangent central angle with that of nozzle insert holes 22a-22c of analytical tanks 10a-10c passing the center of the fulcrum 21, are prepared at the periphery of a gear 15; and photo couplers 19a-19c which envelope the circumference of the gear 15 are installed on the line connecting the center of the fulcrum 21 and the center of the nozzle insert hole 22. When the container 2 stops at the sampling position 5, an arithmetic control instrument 18 starts a pulse motor 16 to rotate the fulcrum 21 through a pinion 17 and the gear 15 for a definite angle placing the nozzle 9 upon the sampling position 5, and the nozzle 9 is inserted into the specimen container 2 to take in a definite amount of sample liquid. Then the fulcrum 21 is raised, and the pulse motor 16 is rotated; when the photo coupler 19 detects the light, the rotation of the pulse motor 16 is stopped, and the nozzle 9 is rotationally moved to the point above the insertion hole 22 to discharge the sample liquid. |
