The invention relates to: p-oxybenzoic acid derivatives of the general formula (1) in which: R<1> denotes and R<2> denotes -OH, the diastereomers and enantiomers in pure form or as mixture of stereoisomeric forms and their physiologically tolerable salts, a process for preparing them and their use for preparing medicaments having hypolipaemic action.
