PURPOSE:To effectively compensate a temperature error at the time of measuring the force, by calculating a temperature compensating value, based on temperature information which has been obtained from a temperature sensor, and adding it up to a value of force which has been calculated from a natural frequency of a chord. CONSTITUTION:A natural frequency of a chord 6 which has been stretched between a tip part 3 of a main elastic body 1 and a tip part of a sub-elastic body 5 corresponds to a load on a lacing plate 4, and an oscillator 8 is oscillated by a frequency being equal to the natural frequency. When a clock pulse of a clock oscillator 11 is counted by a counter 12 until a value of a counter 9 for counting the number of oscillation reaches a prescribed value, a value being proportional to the natural frequency of the chord 6 is obtained, and from this counting value, the load W on the placing plate 4 is calculated by a weight calculating part 13. In this case, based on temperature information obtained from a temperature sensor 14 which has been attached to the sub-elastic body 5, a temperature compensating value DELTAD is calculated by a temperature compensation calculating part 16, a temperature compensation is executed by adding up DELTAD to the weight signal W by an adder and subtracter 17, and thereafter, it is displayed on an indicator 18.
