<p>Prepn. 3-pyrroline and pyrrolidine derivs. of formula (I) and their salts comprises reacting 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5 dibromo -piperidin-4-one (II) or its salt with an amine R3-NH-A1-R2 (III) and opt. reducing the obtd. pyrroline cpd. to the corresp. pyrrolidine. - A1 = direct bond or opt. branched 1-5C alkylene (opt. substd. by OH or -CONH2); dotted line = optional bond; R2 = (i) aromatic, heteroaromatic or aryloxy gp. (opt. substd. by one or more 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy or halogen), (ii) NH2, (iii) NH2, (iv) -CHPh2 or (v) -CO-NH-R4; R4 = aromatic gp. (pref. phenyl), opt. substd. by alkyl; R3 = H or 1-4C alkyl.</p> |
