Manual drop dispenser - with two valve elements on piston rod defining one dose

A manual appliance for dispensing pharmaceutics in drops is a cylindrical vessel with a pist rod which has a push button at the proximal end. Its distal end has a top and a bottom valve element which form between them a space for metering a drop. Specifically the appliance has a cap (4) which can be used as a cup when taken off the cylinder (6). A piston rod (1) has at the bottom two valve elements (2,3) which define a dosing space (9) between them. A spring (5) is compressed when the push button is depressed and returns the piston rod (1) to the stop (10). The parts (1,2,3,5,10) can be made as one integral plastic injection moulding, e.g. of polyolefin. ADVANTAGE - This ensures a precise dosage for each drop.
