The device is for automatically wrapping large square bales (3) with stretch foil. It has a winding station (10) with foil roll support (13a) which rotates about a horizontal axis (A) about the large bales (3) and further foil roll supports (8a,9a) which are mounted at the inlet and outlet of the winding station (10) through which each foil web (14,15) can move at right angles to the transport direction in front of the inlet and outlet opening. The device is movable and can be attached to a large bale press. USE/ADVANTAGE - Absolutely air-tight wrapping.
