PURPOSE:To correct a set mode after releasing jamming by providing a registering means for registering a 2nd copying mode in the case that the jamming occurs while the 2nd copying mode is set after a 1st copying mode is set. CONSTITUTION:A reservation key 602 is depressed to obtain such a state that a copying mode different from the copying mode already set can be set. By depressing a reservation setting key 603 after setting a copying mode which should be registered, at such a time, the set copying mode is stored in the RAM 803 of a controller 800. In the case that the jamming occurs while the 2nd copying mode different from the 1st copying mode is set, the 2nd copying mode which is set by the time when the jamming occurs is stored in a buffer and a flag to store that the copying mode different from the 1st copying mode is in the middle of being set is raised in order to set a jamming release waiting state. Thus, the set mode is corrected after the jamming is released without making the mode set before the jamming occurs ineffective. |
