Method for manufacturing packagings, particularly for growing mushrooms, characterised in that discontinuous cuts are made which open out in a sheath (12) made from plastic material so as to obtain inner capsules connected to the web (matrix) of the sheath made from plastic material by links. A further subject of the present invention is a device for implementing the method, comprising cutting means (16), a part (28) of which is stationary, forming a die, and a part (26) of which is movable, constituting the punch, these two parts being arranged on either side of the sheath (12) made from plastic material.
