MANUFACTURING MEHTOD OF HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE

The highly volatile non-solvent type additives are added to the spinning liquid for the hollow fiber membrane and the volatile additives are volatilized in the air gap before the coagulation process to gel the surface layer having no defect, thin and dense outer surface layer. The supporting layer is changed to have high porous structure by the coagulation process. The hollow fiber has a superior selectivity and a minimized structure for the dynamic resistance. The volatile non-solvents such as methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, isoprophy alcohol, and acetone added to the spinning liquid at the ratio of 5-15 wt.%.
