PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization and high rigidity and to facilitate adjustement of an optical axis and then to achieve low manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with the optical pickup equipped with a fixed optical part 16 consisting of a light source part 21, an optical element 26, photodetectors 29 and 31 and a housing 20, a moving optical part 17 having an objective lens 25 for converging light flux emitted from the fixed optical part 16 and a guide means 15 for guiding the moving optical part 17. Then, the guide means 15 is integrally formed with the housing 20 of the fixed optical part 16, and an optical axis 24 of the light flux emitted by the fixed optical part 16 is positioned by adjusting the optical element 26 or the light source part 21. Consequently, since the guide means is integrally formed with the housing of the fixed optical part, a part of fitting the guide means to the fixed optical part is not required to be worked with severe dimensional accuracy, thus reducing the cost. In addition, the adjustment of the optical axis is easy. |
