PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency and accuracy of a plate making work by editing document data of every one page and further outputting plural pages to one sheet of output medium by an edition form where a printing plate is imposed. CONSTITUTION:An input means 12 inputs document data for printing. An edition mans 13 edits the document data inputted by the input means 12 by the output form every one page. A storage means 14 stores the document data edited by the edition means 13. A plate making imposition edition means 16 arrays document data edited to the output form every one page by the rule of printing plate making imposition and edits the data by the output form where plural pages are printed on one sheet of output medium. A plate making imposition output means 17 outputs the document data edited to the output form of the plate making imposition by the plate making imposition edition means 16.
