PURPOSE:To expose a terminal securely by retaining a wiring terminal in an insert block constituted of an elastic material, disposing the same in a molded product cavity and then injection casting a material to be molded and removing the insert block from the molded product after molding. CONSTITUTION:An insert block 20 accommodating a terminal 12 of a wiring component 10 in a retaining section 25 is disposed on a given recessed section 43 of a cavity 41. The insert, block 20 with its upper surface 20a having no outer shell is faced to the mold surface of said recessed section 43, and disposed in a given position of the cavity by pulling out an embedded section of the wiring component from an upper side surface section 20b having no outer shell either. The insert block 20 and the wiring component 10 are disposed in the cavity 41, and then a material to be molded such as polyurethane resin or the like is cast into said cavity 41 and molding is carried out. After the completion of molding, the molded product is released together with the insert block, and the insert block is released from the molded product to manufacture a molded product with its terminal exposed on the given mounting section. |
