PURPOSE:To protect a relay against temperature rise and burning while preventing insufficient contact by switching the AC output power by means of the relay. CONSTITUTION:Under a state where AC commercial power is fed to AC input terminals 21a, 21b, the AC commercial voltage is transformed through a power supply transformer 80 and delivered from output terminals 31a, 31b. Under a state where AC commercial power is not fed to the AC input terminals 21a, 21b, a relay 26 is driven by a relay control section 90 to close a make contact 26c. An inverter section 60 converts DC power from a battery 50 into AC power which is then transformed through the power supply transformer 80 and delivered from the output terminals 31a, 31b. The relay control section 90 turns the relay 26 ON/OFF under the state where power is fed and then turns the relay 26 ON. |
