<p>A thermal disposal plant has a pyrolysis reactor (8) with a first heating arrangement (20) for indirectly heating waste (A) and a second or third heating arrangements (22, 22a) for directly heating waste (A) within the pyrolysis reactor (8). The pyrolysis reactor (8) converts waste (A) into low temperature carbonization gas (s) and solid pyrolysis residues (r). Both substances (s, r) are supplied to a high temperature reactor (32) for burning, if required after going through a conditioning arrangement (34). According to the invention, the first heating arrangement (20) ensures the basic heating of waste (A) in the pyrolysis reactor (8). For that purpose, a special energy carrier (b) or the lost heat from the smoke gas (R) of the high temperature reactor (32) may be used. Additional heating is supplied according to need by means of the second heating arrangement (22, 22a) by feeding air into the pyrolysis reactor (8).</p> |
