Sock designed for snowboarding having padded regions of greater and lesser density

This original design of a sock for snow boarding includes a tubular body with leg- (28), heel- (32) and foot- (28) sections. There is a toe-surrounding region (36) at the front. The body has regions of padding in greater and lesser densities, set in a predetermined arrangement. These are designed for the sock (20) to be used with, and to engage within a snowboard boot. Further details of e.g. the padding, elastication and construction are provided. Also claimed is a variation especially suitable for leaning forward.
