Apparatus for extraction of slurry from garden ponds

The apparatus has an extraction hose (4) connected to a pump installation (5) that comprises a diaphragm pump (7) which can be arranged on a carrier wagon. The pump has a working frequency of less than 100 hz, particularly of 40 to 60 hz and a flow rate capacity of under 60 l/min, particularly of 20 to 40 l/min. The pump is driven by a rotary drive (14) arranged on top of a gearbox (13) and has a pump-chamber with a volume between 0.5 to 1.0 l. The extraction hose that supplies slurry to the pump, has a free inner diameter of 2.0 cm. At its free end it has an extraction orifice, through which slurry is sucked, of a diameter 20 per cent smaller than the free inner diameter of the hose. The extracted slurry leaves the pump installation via a collection outlet (6).
