Hook for clothes using tab or hanger in side of roof of motor vehicle

The hook has a sleeve (1) which fits into a hole in the wall (5) of the vehicle bodywork. A carrying peg (2) with an axially positionable shank (3) fits into the sleeve. The shank extends by moving between two positions and carries a hook (4) on the end projecting into the passenger compartment. The sleeve has stops which could be U-shaped grooves (8) to limit the movement of fixed lugs (7) on the shank. The peg could be made in one-piece plastic. The hook carries clothing on tabs and the extended shank carries clothing on a hanger.
