Forage harvester with conditioning unit

The forage harvester has a chopper drum housing and following conveyor blower connected by a transfer shaft. The transfer shaft (1) containing the pair of conditioning rollers forms one separate assembly unit which has a detachable quick-fit connection with the harvester through its lower front area and through at least one further spaced fixing point (10,12). The fixing point (10) at the lower front area of the shaft can be formed as a swivel bearing (13). It is formed by extensions (15) of the sidewalls (16) of the shaft protruding down at both sides and connected to an upwardly open yoke comprising crossbar fixed by brackets on the front axle (11).
