The insert separates film web with simultaneous removal of corners. The insert has a first cutting edge to separate the film and at least two further cutting edges in a V-shape for cutting off the corners. The cutting edges are formed from a single strip blank (46), the first cutting edge being formed from a first section (52) of the blank, which is folded about a fold line (54) in the longitudinal direction of the blank. The two additional cutting edges are formed by cutting into a second section (48) and bending the two end sections (64, 66) outwards. The insert is made from a metal with a high specific electrical resistance. |
