PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time and cost of adjustment prior to measurement work by correcting the outputs of an eddy current type displacement sensor in respective correction positions by theoretical values and linearizing the relations between the outputs of this eddy current type displacement sensor and measurement distances. SOLUTION: A controller makes zero setting of the output of the eddy current type displacement sensor 22 by bringing the eddy current type displacement sensor 22 into contact with the outer peripheral surface of a rubbing roller 21 and moves the eddy current type displacement sensor 22 to the prescribed measurement position with respect to the rubbing roller 21. The controller makes span setting by making the output of the eddy current type displacement sensor 22 in this position and the theoretical value correspondent to each other. The plural correction positions are determined in accordance with the range of the eccentric quantity measured on the basis of the measurement position of the eddy current type displacement sensor 22 and the number of the correction positions. The theoretical values of the outputs of the eddy current type displacement sensor 22 in the respective correction positions are determined and the eddy current type displacement sensor 22 is moved to the respective correction positions. The outputs of the eddy current type displacement sensor in the respective correction positions are then corrected with the theoretical values and the relations between the outputs of the eddy current type displacement sensor 22 and the distances are linearized. |
