SUBSTANCE: described is new nuclease-resistant oligonucleoside containing sequence of general formula I: <EMI ID=0.384 HE=90 WI=111 TI=CHI> wherein each Z is independently R or <EMI ID=0.385 HE=15 WI=78 TI=CHI> wherein W is -D-D-D- wherein each D is independently CHR or NR wherein R is independently hydrogen, OH, and R is hydrogen provided that only one of D is NR , <EMI ID=0.386 HE=3 WI=3 TI=CHI> is independently W or <EMI ID=0.387 HE=15 WI=15 TI=CHI>, R is independently OH, SH or NR<SP>2</SP>R wherein R and R are independently H or C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>6</SB>- alkyl, each R is independently H or C<SB>1</SB>-C<SB>12</SB> alkyl, each Y is independently H or OH, each B is independently adenine, citosine, guanine, thymine, uracil or modifications thereof, each e and f is integer from 0 to 50 provided that at least one of each f is at least 1, j is integer from 1 to about 200, K is 0 or integer from 1 to about 197, and each of m and n is independently from 1 to 200, each P is independently integer from 2 to 4; Q is either from 1 to about 197 provided that sum j+k+Q is from about 5 to 200.
